Country Folk is a multi-player interactive game set in the near future where most of the players represent different parts of a fictional rural community in a country going through severe upheaval and internal conflict.

Into this environment is inserted players representing United Nations peacekeepers, who are trying to stabilise the community, not always with their full cooperation.

The challenge is multi-dimensional for all the players, managing competing objectives and tensions.

The game aims to explore the issues of multi-factional communication, influence and interaction in an environment of civil unrest.

Issues such as community coherence, infrastructure resilience, peacemaking and peacekeeping are explored in this game.

Number of players & playing time

The game will typically take a minimum of three hours, can be played for up to a day.

Minimum number of participants is 12, but the game can be scaled to over 30 or so.
