Civic Power Fund
SPS recently delivered an event for The Civic Power Fund, bringing together 80 UK social justice funders.
At the centre of the session was Risk & Responsibility, a bespoke simulation designed to explore how funding organisations in the charitable sector might respond if the UK Government were to become increasingly authoritarian. Participants were challenged to navigate complex trade-offs, test strategic choices, and consider the broader implications of their decisions.
As the scenario unfolded, one central question shaped the discussion:
“Faced with an authoritarian government, would your organisation resist or collaborate?”
